It was the perfect storm. The perfect timing for the GOP to go further than they normally would.

Yay!

They’ve been losing ground far too long. The best the GOP has done for decades is just slow their move backwards. But always they have moved backwards.

Maybe this is the beginning of a move forwards. Finally.

I see it more as standing up for the budget, rather than hiding against it.

I believe worker compensation is a huge line item in the budget.
